Innovation in nursing refers to the creative and transformative processes, practices, and solutions that nurses employ to enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care. The goal of nursing innovation is to transform healthcare with value-based care that is patient-centered, cost-effective, and sustainable. It involves applying new ideas, methods, and technologies to advance practice, education, clinical outcomes, and patient experience, while also improving the quality of care, patient safety, and equity.
